Friday 8 Mar 2013 Ronald Kueter BELLEVUE, Iowa -- Ronald Milo Kueter, 67, of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday morning, March 6, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque, surrounded by his family. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bellevue. Ron was born on Aug. 30, 1945, in Bellevue, son of Milo and Mary (Schilling) Kueter. He married LaVonne Scholtes on Oct. 7, 1967, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellevue. He worked for John Deere Dubuque Works for 36 1/2 years, retiring in 2001. He then worked for Family Dollar in Maquoketa for the past 10 years. In his early years, he worked as a part-time police officer in Bellevue. Ron had a great sense of humor and care-free attitude, enjoyed people and had a signature laugh. He was a hard worker. He loved old John Deere tractors and riding his four-wheeler. Ron's grandchildren were especially important to him. He will be deeply missed. Those left to honor his memory are his wife of 45 years, LaVonne, of Bellevue; two sons, Terry (Linnet) and Brian (Pamm); daughter, Jeanna (Mathew) Schmidt, all of Bellevue; six grandchildren, Amye Valant, Bobye McInnerney, Cathye Redmond, Chase Kueter, Devon Kueter and Patricia Schmidt; and a brother, David (Linda) Kueter, of Bellevue. BELLEVUE, Iowa -- Milo H. Kueter, 86, of Bellevue, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 29, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellevue, with the Rev. Stephen Meyer officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7:30 p.m. today at Kingery~Lemke Funeral Home, Bellevue. Friends also may call from 9:30 until procession to the church Friday at the funeral home.

He was born on Feb. 18, 1923, in Bellevue, son of John and Mary (Sieverding) Kueter.

He married Mary Schilling on Nov. 21, 1944, in Bellevue; she preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 2008.

Milo served in the Army. He had farmed since 1948 and owned and operated his own farm since 1951. He also worked at Clinton Machine, and John Deere Dubuque Works for 28 years.

Milo and his wife, Mary, enjoyed going to the fairgrounds regularly to listen to live country music. He truly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.

Surviving are his two children, Ron (LaVonne) Keuter and David (Linda) Kueter, both of Bellevue; six grandchildren, Terry (Linnet), Brian (Pamm), Jeanna (fiance, Matt Schmidt), Eric (Naomi) and Jaydon and Brendan Kueter; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Cleta (Harold) Herrig, of Bellevue, Elaine (Quentin) Schumacher, of Dubuque, and Ceil (Lorin) Hager, of Pahrump, Nev.; and two sisters-in-law, Armella Kueter, of Prairie Du Chien, Wis., and Imelda Kueter, of Bellevue.

He also was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Patricia; and four brothers, Nestor, Ralph, Paul and Gregory.
